You can help provide essential services for the 20 Australians diagnosed with lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) each day.
As a busy mum and step-mum to three young boys, Greer had her focus firmly on her family and work commitments, so when the unexpected and devastating diagnosis of stage 4 Follicular Lymphoma came in early 2022 at the age of 36, Greer’s world was turned upside down.
That is where Lymphoma Australia came in – as the only Australian charity dedicated to supporting those with Lymphoma and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). Our website is a trusted source of reliable information, with fact sheets on diagnosis, treatments and over 80 different subtypes. Our knowledgeable nurses host regular webinars across a variety of subjects, all of which are free and available to view in your own time. We also host and moderate online Support Groups, such as the Lymphoma Down Under, where people can join a safe and secure space, ask questions without judgement, and connect to a supportive community of peers.
This year, more than 7,400 Australians will receive the news that they have lymphoma. For most it’s the first time they’ve heard of it. Unfortunately, at the same time, thousands more are already living with this lymphatic cancer. But together with your help, we can continue improving the experience for Australian lymphoma and CLL patients, by ensuring everyone has equal access to relevant and specialised care, support, and education.
Please give by June 30 to help us continue to support Australians with lymphoma and their families, just like Greer, through what is a very stressful and scary time.
